- And the winner is.... |
� ��� Thanks to everyone who participated in the Baby Taylor promotion! After a very few busy weeks, we have selected our grand prize winner!!
The names of all seven daily winners were printed out and cut up into equal sized pieces of paper. They were then folded over and placed on Josh's coffee table in a random fashion. At that point Josh had his two year old daughter, Briana go over to the table and bring back to her daddy one of the slips of paper..., and it was:

� �� The Baby Taylor Guitar will be signed by Josh this Friday and sent out to Jessica along with her shirt as soon as possible. We will also be sending out the other winners' shirts and as an extra bonus, Josh will sign each of them as well.

- SATURDAY WAS �JOSH GRACIN DAY� IN WESTLAND, MICHIGAN |
| �American Idol 2� alumnus Josh Gracin visited his hometown of Westland, Michigan (a Detroit suburb) on Saturday, June 26th for an in-store appearance at the local K-Mart.� Over 800 fans lined up to meet Gracin � many even arriving at 4:00 AM and sleeping with blankets on the sidewalk.� Gracin, who had just gotten off of a red-eye flight from San Diego, CA where he is currently stationed at Camp Pendleton, was touched by the huge show of hometown support.� Right before he began signing albums, the Mayor of Westland showed up and officially proclaimed it �Josh Gracin Day.��� Gracin signed copies of his self-titled debut CD for over five hours, selling close to 700 copies and was also interviewed by several local newspapers and Detroit television stations while he was interacting with fans. |

- JOSH GRACIN TAKES MANHATTAN WITH ALBUM RELEASE WEEK |
New York, NY � For country music fans, one of the highlights of "American Idol 2" was the success of a young U.S. Marine named Josh Gracin, a country singer whose performances won him hearts and votes across the country. Now, the twenty-three year old Michigan native will release his self-titled debut album on Lyric Street Records on June 15, 2004.�� His current single, �I Want to Live� is one of the fastest growing songs� on the radio and is currently charting in the Top 20.
�Based at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, Josh will promote his album release in NYC while on a requested four day leave from the military base. It is by sheer luck that among the 50,000 Marines stationed at Camp Pendleton that Josh was not deployed to Iraq.� It is with this sentiment that Josh is determined to succeed in the music business and encourage his close friends and fellow Marines that are currently serving overseas.� He will complete his military duty with an Honorable Discharge at the rank of Lance Corporal this September.� Josh will then move to Nashville to join his wife and daughter and pursue his music career full-time.
�While he is in New York City, Josh will celebrate the release of his album with a party at Rodeo Bar.� He will also appear on ESPN 2's "Cold Pizza" (6/18 - 7-9 AM ET), Fox News Channel's "Fox and Friends" (6/19 -7-9AM ET), E! News and Extra.� Also look for a feature on Josh in the June 28th issue of People Magazine (on sale June 18th). |
