It's the Early Show on CBS, not Good Morning

America (rumor had been GMA) on Sept 11. He is singing 3 songs! from recent interview:
Recently, he was asked to sing three songs on the Sept. 11 edition of The Early Show and is still trying to choose ones that will best match the solemnity of the occasion -
Which songs would you all like to hear him sing that morning?

ralph: what great picks, i didn't think of the long one or peace of mind they would both be great
jeanay: i thought maybe both too until i heard he was signing 3 songs. it might be hard to do both except GMA is a longer show isn't it? i don't know I usually watch Fox and Friends. They have had Josh on a lot and they are ALWAYS VERY nice to him.

I like the three that Ralph said, but I think we need at least one fast one. And NTL would be a good one for that, since it's going to be the next single anyway.

I think it would be cool if he did The Other Little Soldier and I Want To Live because they apply to 9/11---and then maybe NTL to lighten the mood. How exciting that they are giving him 3 songs!!!!!

For Sept. 11, the songs really should be soulful and thoughtful. This is what I think...The day is about all those whose lives were lost and their families and in turn, all our men and women fighting to protect us from the very thing that happened on Sept. 11 and their families. Josh is an excellent choice of singers because of his personality and demeanor and of course because he is a marine. Even though he will be out of the corps soon, once a marine, always a marine..this is part of Joshs' charm..the all-american guy....His love of country and family. I remember people being upset because he sang "Celebrate" on AI and men and women were going to war. I wouldn't want people to think that this was all about pushing Josh on the American public or a publicity act.
There is plenty of time for Joshs' next single to be aired or any kind of "upbeat" songs...If a song to be sung is upbeat, it should be about people pulling together...the fight against wrong..that kind of thing. Maybe because I am older, I just think that this would be more suitable for this occasion...What really matters, is that Josh is being recognised more and more...I wish they would bring him to NY more...better yet to L.I., NY....Time to spread the good news of JOSH GRACIN all around!!!!!!
