My first wrestling meet is Saturday!!!!

I'd really rather not talk about how I did yesterday, but since I promised you guys, I'll do it any way.

I lost 3 matches, and I won 1 match.

Yesterday, I experienced my first losses ever, and it was hard.

The coach said I was in the hardest weight class and he wants me to go down to the next lowest weight class. I almost felt like I was gonna cry after I lost my first match, but my coach (we are also very good friends) was always there for me to give me a hug and he said he was proud of me. And my team really supported me.

Overall, our team placed 10th out of 15, which is better than we thought we would do. We had one person place in 2nd, another in 3rd, 4th and 5th.

I just hoep I do better next match. That's all I can do.

its okay u cant win em all but at least your team wasnt last place right always look at the postive side of things ur not the only one who lost if ur team placed tenth
u doing what a lot of girls wouldnt even try to do be proud of yourself

Thank you so much guys! I just really hope I can get down to the next weight class by Wednesday. That's when my next meet is. I'll be sure to tell ya'll how that one goes too. I'll be sure to tell you how every meet goes actually....LOL! And hopefully they will be better than this last one. It was just hard, because I NEVER lost until that meet. And I knew I could have done so much better than what I did. I mean, I have the skill, and the stregth, and I've proven to the guys on my team that I'm strong, since I've beaten many of them consistintly. But the coach said I was in the hardest weight class.

But enough with dwelling on that!

You all have given me good advice! My mother says that when ever I think about my meet on Wednesday, think "I can be beaten, but I won't be beaten." And she says to picture myself winning, and play that over and over again in my head until that's all I know, and on Wednesday, make it real!

I'm praying that I do well!
