I saw Josh perform tonight at a concert in Cedar Falls Iowa.
I'm not a country music fan, but I am a fan of American Idol.
I think that Josh Gracin is really great, and I got to meet him. I got to touch his arm (which was the highlight of the whole MONTH of September), and I said some really dumb thing about liking him but it's not what I wanted to say (but I was a little star struck... he's really sexy).
Anyway, I regret not telling him what I really wanted to say.
I hope he reads this...
Here is what I wish I would have said (it would have meant so much more);
Josh,
Thank you for your service. You might be a famous singer now, but none of that matters when you're on the front lines. I appreciate your service to our country, and you are wonderful for so many reasons... but that is number one.
That's what I really should have said... and I regret not saying it.
He, and the other men and women serving in the armed forces deserve our thanks and gratitude.
THANK YOU JOSH GRACIN FOR SERVING OUR COUNTRY!!!

| I know when I met Josh there were a lot more that I wanted to tell him and that I thought of asking him after I had left where he was. But I was a little star struck too. |
